Explore the Art of World of Warcraft® -

Opening night event includes
guest lecture from project lead at Blizzard Entertainment®
WHAT: World of Warcraft® is a popular massively
multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) from Blizzard
Entertainment® . The new exhibit featured at The Art Institute
of California – Orange County gallery demonstrates the
important role of art and style in this game universe.
Included will be artwork and images from the current expansion
, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade™. Visitors can also
view Blizzard cinematics and art from some of the products and
promotional materials that have developed around the game,
including packaging, magazine covers, novels, comic books,
action figures and a trading card game.
On the opening
night of the exhibit, The Art Institute welcomes Jeff
Chamberlain, project lead at Blizzard Entertainment, as he
presents The Process of Cinematics – From Concept to
Animation. Guests get an inside look at the Blizzard
cinematics department’s process of creating award-winning
shorts for some of the world’s best games. This presentation
covers all aspects of the team’s design process, from
storyboarding to shot finishing, for titles in the StarCraft®,
Warcraft® and Diablo® universes.
